The location was perfect, just a few feet away from the beautiful beach. The rooms were tastefully furnished and had amazing art pieces. The staff was warm and welcoming, providing excellent service. The breakfast was simple but lovely. The outdoor dining area had stunning sea views, making it a peaceful experience. it was a wonderful place to rest, unwind, and relax.
The lack of a swimming pool was a downside, especially since the sea water temperature was too cold to spend long periods in the water.

This hidden gem is nestled in a remote location, allowing guests to truly experience the authentic African environment. The lodge's tasteful furnishings and beautiful art pieces create a serene and relaxing atmosphere. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure a warm and welcoming stay, with special mentions to Animata for her excellent service at the restaurant/bar, and Makoumba for his attentiveness at the beach towel service. The beach and the fish market are wonderful attractions nearby. The rooms are cozy and the breakfast, although minimalistic, offers delicious options like fresh bread, juice, fruits, and honey.
Some guests may find the beach and water not always perfectly clean, and there could be occasional encounters with local vendors on the beach. However, this is part of the local experience and can be easily managed.

As a business traveler, I appreciated the peaceful and authentic African environment of the lodge. The layout, decoration, and local ambiance created a unique and immersive experience. The staff, particularly Animata at the restaurant/bar and Makoumba who provided beach towel service, were friendly and attentive. The lodge offered a quiet escape from the outside world, and the beach area was away from the crowded resorts. The accommodations were comfortable with high-quality amenities. it felt like a gem of a place to stay.
Felt so relaxed, couldn't find anything to complain about.

The beach is great for walking. The site is private and well maintained. Breakfast and meals are delicious. Rooms are great but beds are a bit hard. Plenty of lounge areas. The owner and staff are pleasant and helpful. Clean and quiet bungalows with comfortable beds. Artistic rustic furnishings. Delicious food options. Quaint and comfortable outdoor dining room. Beautiful garden and relaxing atmosphere. Wide beach for long walks.

The location of the lodge was perfect, with stunning views of the ocean and breathtaking sunsets. The rooms were comfortable and the service provided by the staff was exceptional. We enjoyed delicious food made with local ingredients, and the beach was not crowded, allowing for a peaceful and relaxing vacation.
The lack of activities around the lodge was a bit disappointing, as we were looking for more things to do during our stay.
